Elie Wiesel

About ElieElie was 15 years old when he was sent to Auschwitz. When he first arrived in Auschwitz he started documenting his experiences in the concentration camps. This book is now published and is called 'Night.' Elie is a survivor as most people died during the holocaust and he is one of the few people that lived and is still alive today.

In 2006 Elie and Oprah return to Auschwitz to reflect on his experiences when he was a child. As Elie says in the interview "Everything was programmed, and what did they achieve? Death and more death." Showing that their goal was to slaughter everyone of their choice and they knew this goal from the start. I recommend this video as it has a true holocaust survivor and his traumatic life experiences.
